Hi I’m Laurie, founder of Wavemakers™.
Wavemakers™ is more than just a new water workout. We’re a movement.
I’ve always been encouraged by my parents to do what I love most. When I was in my early twenties, that meant leaving Canada to work at Walt Disney World Waterparks, and soon after, working for the Aquatic Exercise Association. Just like you, I find something special about being in water. It’s a place where I can challenge myself though high intensity intervals or stretch in a way my body craves!
Developed by a team of industry experts, Wavemakers™ seeks to advance safe and effective water exercises to promote health, fitness, performance and well-being.
Water exercise is misunderstood. Although it’s playful and fun, that doesn’t mean serious work is not happening. Men and women of all ages and fitness levels can build enduring health and fitness with a program that is built on sound water exercise science.
